Maria Chrysostomou
w 2021 roku ukończyła studia licencjackie na kierunku taniec na Uniwersytecie w Nikozji.Oprócz studiów jest również aktywnie zaangażowana w wiele tanecznych projektów na Cyprze (tancerka „ICON”, choreografia i reżyseria: Machi Dimitriadou Lindahl, tancerka „Is it true that you will wait for me?”, w reżyserii Machi Dimitriadou Lindahla, współtwórca i wykonawca „ProsopArmozo” Koresa, tancerka „Peer Gynt”, Międzynarodowy Festiwal Kypria, reżyseria Fotis Nikolaou, Anita Tomasevich & Manolis Neofitou, ruch i udział aktorski w “The Pillowman” Martina McDonagha i Theatro Anemona w reżyserii i tłumaczeniu Varnavasa Kyriazisa, aktorka drugoplanowa w “The Acharnians” Arystofanesa, T.O.C w reżyserii Varnavasa Kyriazisa; wolontariuszka „Rooms”, T.O.C, reż. Thanasis Georgiou i Fotis Nicolaou, tancerka „Charlie” w choreografii Ivi Chatzivasileiou). Uczestniczyła również w programach i projektach wymiany Erasmus+ w sierpniu 2021 reprezentując Cypr w Lizbońskim projekcie „CreARTivity” organizowanym przez Iniciativa Internacional Joven oraz w projekcie „Dance More” w Szwecji w mieście Viksjöfors. Ponadto, w 2021 roku, stworzyła choreografię do duetu “Two Bodies, One Bond”. Będąc tancerką szkoły Lefkosia Youth Ballet uczestniczyła w klasycznym dziele Siergieja Prokoviewa; „Cinderella” w reżyserii Lefkosia Youth Ballet. W 2019 roku, pod opieką i choreografią Viky Kalli, zajęła II miejsce w kategorii Free Style Contemporary Dance w swojej grupie wiekowej na 20. Międzynarodowym Konkursie Tańca „Terpsichore’s Works”. W 2019 roku brała również udział w letnim kursie zorganizowanym przez Henny Jurriens Studio (HJS), gdzie miała okazję wziąć udział w warsztatach Andreja Petrovica (Akram Khan Repertory), Iana Robinsona i Raphaela Osborne’a (Gaga & Ohad Naharin Repertory) oraz Erica Beauchesne ( Kidd Pivot/Crystal Pite Repertory). Brała również udział w warsztatach i seminariach prowadzonych przez Billy Barry, Michal Sayfan, Shahar Binyamini, Yaara Moses, Theo Samsoworth, Beatrice Zancanaro & Alberto Poli, Maurice Causey, Enrico Morelli, Daniele Ardillo, Denise Vale Claudia. W październiku 2021 rozpoczyna trzymiesięczny staż w Młodzieżowym Domu Kultury w Koninie w ramach programu Erasmus+ jako tancerka, choreograf i nauczycielka tańca, a w styczniu 2022 wyjeżdża na 6-miesięczną wymianę w ramach programu Erasmus+ w Nuova Officina Della Danza w Turynie.
Maria Chrysostomou has been a Dance graduate (BA Dance Studies) of the University of Nicosia since the Summer of 2021. Besides her studies, she is also actively involved in various performances in Cyprus (dancer for “ICON”, choreographed & directed by Machi Dimitriadou Lindahl, dancer for “Is it true that you will wait for me?”, directed by Machi Dimitriadou Lindahl; co-creater and performer for “ProsopArmozo”, by Kores, dancer for “Peer Gynt”, Kypria International Festival, directed by Fotis Nikolaou, Anita Tomasevich & Manolis Neofitou; movement and acting participation in “The Pillowman” by Martin McDonagh, Theatro Anemona, directed and translated by Varnavas Kyriazis; supporting actor on stage in “The Acharnians” by Aristophanes, T.O.C, directed by Varnavas Kyriazis; volunteer for “Rooms”, TOC, directed by Thanasis Georgiou & Fotis Nicolaou; dancer for “Charlie”, choreographed by Ivi Chatzivasileiou). She also participated in an Erasmus + exchange programs & projects the August of 2021 representing Cyprus, in Portugal, Lisboan called “CreARTivity” organized by Iniciativa Internacional Joven and in “Dance More” project, placed in Sweden, Viksjöfors. Moreover, she choreographed a duet piece named “Two Bodies, One Bond”, within the framework of the university’s Advance Dance Composition Showcase in 2021. In addition, being a member of the Youth Ballet Lefkosia for 2016 -18, she has also participated on Sergei Prokoviev’s classical work; “Cinderella”, directed by Youth Ballet Lefkosia. In 2019, mentored and choreographed by Viky Kalla, she took the 2nd place in Free Style Contemporary Dance category in her age division, in the 20th International Dance Competition 2019 “Terpsichore’s Works”. In 2019, she participated in the Henny Jurriens Studio (HJS) Summer Intensive, where she had the chance to take workshops from Andrej Petrovic (Akram Khan Repertory), Ian Robinson & Raphael Osborne (Gaga & Ohad Naharin Repertory), and Eric Beauchesne (Kidd Pivot/Crystal Pite Repertory). Finally, she took workshops and seminars with Billy Barry, Michal Sayfan, Shahar Binyamini, Yaara Moses, Theo Samsoworth, Beatrice Zancanaro & Alberto Poli, Maurice Causey, Enrico Morelli, Daniele Ardillo, Denise Vale Claudia (artistic director of Martha Graham Dance Company). In October 2021 she is having three months internship with Konin’s Youth Community Centre in Poland, Konin through Erasmus + as a dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher and in January 2022 she is going to attend a six-month program through Erasmus + internship in Nuova Officina Della Danza, Turin, Italy.
Avgoustina Triarou
jest absolwentką tańca na Uniwersytecie w Nikozji na Cyprze, ukończyła studia licencjackie na kierunku taniec (2017-2021) ze średnią 3,89/4. Podczas studiów brała udział w różnych spektaklach organizowanych przez uniwersytet. W zimowym semestrze akademickim w roku 2019 uczestniczyła w programie Erasmus +, odbywając wymianę w Narodowej Akademii Tańca w Rzymie. Podczas swojego pobytu we Włoszech brała również udział w spektaklu „HIIT-Eyas Dance Project”, w reżyserii i choreografii Carlosa Gonzalesa i Setha Buckleya. W 2019 roku przygotowała dwie choreografie: „The meetup” i „2 in 1”, które wykonała na Zimowym Pokazie Tańca zorganizowanym przez Uniwersytet w Nikozji, a w 2021 roku przygotowała choreografię „In duration” dla Advance Dance Composition Shows. Była także wolontariuszką przy tworzeniu dzieła „Δωμάτια”/„Pokoje” w reżyserii Thanasisa Georgiou i Fotisa Nicolaou, CTO (THOK). W 2020 roku współtworzyła i występowała dla „ProsopArmozo” Koresa w ramach festiwalu “NO BODY At a Distance” 2020 oraz w “Nicosia Pop Up Festival” 2020. W 2021 wzięła udział w wymianie „Dance More” za pośrednictwem programu Erasmus+ reprezentując Cypr. Prowadziła również zajęcia baletowe i taniec współczesny na różnych poziomach, a dodatkowo brała udział w warsztatach organizowanych przez m.in. Hofesh Shechter Company, Benoit Swan Pouffer (Rambert Company), Alvin Ailey Company, Denise Vale Claudia, Mafalda Deville, Billy Barry, Racheal Osborne, Michal Sayfan, Ian Robinson, Shahar Binyamini, Yaara Moses, Matan David, Jason Mabana. Avgoustina Triarou is a dance graduate of the University of Nicosia in Cyprus (BA Dance, 2017-2021) with GPA: 3.89/4. During her studies she participated in various performances through the context of University of Nicosia. The Fall academic Semester 2019 she has participated in the Erasmus+ mobility program, doing an Erasmus exchange with the National Academy of Dance in Rome, Italy. During her time in Italy she was also involved in the performance “HIIT-Eyas Dance Project”, directed and choreographed by Carlos Gonzales and Seth Buckley. In 2019 she choreographed two dance pieces named “The meetup” and “2 in 1” which she also performed, for the University of Nicosia Winter Dance Showcase and in 2021 she choreographed a dance piece named “In duration” for the Advance Dance Composition Showings. She was also a volunteer for “Δωμάτια”/ “Rooms” directed by Thanasis Georgiou & Fotis Nicolaou, CTO (THOK). During 2020 she co-created and performed for “ProsopArmozo”, by Kores in the NO BODY At a Distance 2020 Festival and in the Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2020. In 2021 she participated in the “dance more exchange” through Erasmus+ representing Cyprus. She has also given ballet and contemporary classes for various levels and she has, so far, participated in a variety of workshops, some of which were with Hofesh Shechter Company, Benoit Swan Pouffer (Rambert Company), Alvin Ailey Company, Denise Vale Claudia (artistic director of Martha Graham Dance Company), Mafalda Deville, Billy Barry, Racheal Osborne, Michal Sayfan, Ian Robinson, Shahar Binyamini, Yaara Moses, Matan David, Jason Mabana.
